Painting children is a bit of a challenge, but this was fun. It required use of Indian red, a colour I hadn’t used before.
And since there was paint left on the palette and an alternative board prepared, I thought I’d have another go at drapery:

Old hat to anyone who paints, I have no doubt — but something of a revelation to this “every color is just another crayon in the box” visual low-literate. 🙂
I am still a novice with colour and have acquired quite a few second hand tubes of paint so don’t always know what to expect when I take the lids off 🙂
